Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the E-Biz mobile application (the "App"), collects, uses and protects information. The App is developed by Lotus Wireless Technologies Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "our") and is available on iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play).
The App is a Human Resource Management System (HRMS) for employees of organisations that use E-Biz. Accounts are created by the employer (your organisation). Your organisation decides what employee information is stored, and we process that information on its behalf.
1. Information we collect
We only collect information needed to provide the App's HR features.

Some information shown in the App (such as payslips, bank account details and identity document numbers) is provided by your employer's HR system. The App displays it to you but does not collect it from your device.
2. Device permissions
- Location: used only when you mark attendance.
- Camera and photos: used only when you choose to take or attach a photo or document.
- Face ID / fingerprint: used only to unlock the App. Biometric data is handled entirely by your device's operating system. It is never sent to us and we never have access to it.
You can change these permissions at any time in your device settings. Some features (such as attendance) may not work without them.
3. How we use information
- To provide App features: attendance, leave, expenses, payslips, documents and employee profile.
- To keep the App secure and prevent unauthorised access.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not use your information for advertising or marketing, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell your information.
4. Sharing of information
- Your employer: information is shared with authorised HR staff and managers in your organisation, as needed for HR processes.
- Service providers: secure hosting and storage providers that store data on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements: when required by law, court order or a valid request from a government authority.
We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the App.
5. Data retention
Information is kept for as long as you are employed by the organisation using E-Biz, and afterwards only for as long as your employer or applicable law (such as tax and labour record requirements) requires. Your employer controls retention of employee records.
6. Data security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access is restricted to authorised users. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable safeguards to protect your information.
7. Your rights and account deletion
Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request to access, correct or delete your personal information.
Because accounts are created and managed by your employer, please contact your organisation's HR department first. You can also contact us at the email address below and we will work with your employer to handle your request.
8. Children
The App is intended for employees and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
